…well, it’s safe to say that my childhood is more than over now. Brett, you should have left football when you left Green Bay. While all of us still loved you. What I wrote then seems so silly now. Why would you ever do something so incredibly stupid?
It’s absolutely ironic that the consecutive games streak will likely not be ended by a blitzing linebacker, but by stupidity and poor judgment.

I was going to insert some witty comment, but it is just too sad of a moment. It would have been great if he could have tarnished his legacy by playing longer than he had an arm to throw with instead of this.

You know, if you were a Bears fan you wouldn’t have this problem. I think the worst thing to happen at the Bears was the time Brian Urlacher was dating Paris Hilton. While disturbing in retrospect, no one has a broken heart over it.
